The birth of Delphi was peaceful, primal and one of the most beautiful things I have ever witnessed. I arrived at the same time as their amazing midwife/doula Louise to their home, on one of the hottest days of the month to an excited but calm Serina and and Tyson. Their son Maximus was running around being his wonderful self, eating lots of Zooper Doopers, twirling under the sprinkler, and giving out lots of hugs and affection.

Music was playing (the song which gives me goosebumps is ‘Sztoj pa moru’ by Laboratories Pieśni – pop it on while browsing the photos if you want to feel the energy from the day), essential oils were diffusing, there were beautiful birth mantras hung around the room from Serina’s friends, there was laughter, and Tyson was being so loving and attentive.

This was the first birth I had witnessed (other than my own daughter’s), and I am in awe of the birthing Goddess that Serina was. She completely surrendered to her instincts and fell head over heels in love with Delphi the second she laid eyes on her.  I am so excited to share these images, and hope to be a part of many births in the future!

Serina is also a doula, and her Facebook page is Moon Mama Doula if you want to check her page out 🙂
